Privacy and house rules

Blipling is one creature that everyone looks after together. There are no accounts: you never give a name, an email address or a password. This page says what the site does store, in plain words.

What is stored

What is not stored or done

Other services the page uses

If you play inside Telegram

Telegram tells the site which Telegram account opened it, so that one account is one player. The site turns that into a scrambled ID and does not keep your Telegram name, username or photo. No cookie is used. If you turn on alerts there, the site keeps your Telegram account number so the bot can message you, at most once a day, and deletes it when you turn alerts off.

If you play inside Discord

Discord tells the site which Discord account opened it, so that one account is one player. The site asks Discord only for your basic identity, turns your account number into a scrambled ID, and does not keep your Discord name or picture. No cookie is used, and your requests reach the site through Discord, so the site doesn't see your network address.

Who it is for

Blipling is a game for a general audience. It asks nobody for personal details, whatever their age, and nobody can type anything that other people see: epitaphs are chosen from a list written in advance.
